Welcome Weekends typically take place in January and April each year. Here are some Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: Do international students attend Welcome Weekend?
Q: Where SHOULD I STAY DURING OUR WEEKEND IN PHILADELPHIA?
Q: Will we be as busy as the students?
A: Between 50-100 partners. Many partners cannot attend the Friday session because of work or travel. You are welcome to attend on Saturday even if you are not there on Friday.
A: All partners are welcome to attend! There will be a panel session with current Wharton Partners if you have questions about visas, finding jobs, etc.
A: There are many options when planning your trip to Philly! We recommend either staying in Rittenhouse Square (where majority of the Wharton students live) or next to campus in University City.
A: Yes. Everything during Welcome Weekend is optional but we encourage you to attend as many sessions as you are able to. You will have a similar schedule as the students however it will be more fun!
Q: Can I join Partners Club if I do not plan on moving to Philadelphia?
Q: What if I am unable to attend Welcome Weekend?
A: Absolutely! Many of our events are on the weekends. This is a fun, easy way to meet people who are in the same situation as you are.
A: No problem! Many partners attend Welcome Weekend to get a feel for the area you will be living in, if you choose Wharton. However, if you cannot attend, give us your information using the link that was sent to your prospective student regarding your RSVP. We will be happy to send you the information given at Welcome Weekend and will be readily available to answer any other questions you may have!
